So what is TEFL?
TEFL is an abbreviation for teaching English as a foreign language. It would mean teaching English to foreign students whose first language is not English. The TEFL course has a 4 to 6 week duration with studying part time. The course is online, and you are assessed by regular assignments which can sound like a lot, but it really isn’t and it all pays off in the end!
What TEFL course to choose?
There are many TEFL degrees to choose from, however, we would require you to have 120 hours or more of TEFL training, as stated on your certificate when you finish the course. It is possible that you may not need a TEFL certificate in some provinces in China if you have English literature or another form of education degree e.g. PGCE teaching degree if you are already a teacher for example.
